Jay Gaffney has been with Blu Ladder Construction since 2019. He brings over 20 years of successful Project Management and Program Development experience in construction.  Jay has experience working with design teams, real-estate teams, and operation teams and is skilled in the development of market plans and strategies, site selections, and development costs.  Currently, Jay oversees many areas of new construction including commercial, residential, and multi-family projects for Blu Ladder Construction.

Jay is results driven and his ability to complete tasks while demonstrating a thorough concern and understanding for all things involved has led to his many successes. Jay graduated from East Carolina University in 2000, with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and minor in Business Management. He also holds a North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia GC License and a NASCLA License. Since the start of his career in 2000, he has overseen more than $100M in renovations and New-Build construction projects.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, especially while on the lake or at the beach.
